Former Australian first-class pacer Joe Dawes will take over as the Indian cricket team's bowling coach after Eric Simons' tenure comes to an end after the ongoing tour of Australia. "Joe Dawes has been appointed the Bowling Coach of the Indian team, for a period of two years," BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale said in a statement. A right-arm pace man, Dawes represented Queensland in Australia's domestic circuit in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
