There's absolute mayhem in Maldives after the deposition of former president Mohd Nasheed. Supporters of Nasheed rioted through the streets of the island nation's capital Male and even seized police stations demanding his reinstatement. Police were forced into firing tear gas after rioters threw fire bombs and vandalized a pvt tv station.They even claimed that Nasheed was 'beaten' and heckled by the police in the chaos on the streets.
