Modi begins sadbhavna fast in Godhra

Narendra Modi began a one-day fast in Godhra, a politically-loaded move. Godhra is where the communal riots of 2002 began -1200 people were killed in a matter of weeks, most of them Muslims. Modi's fast is part of a state-wide tour that he has billed his sadbhawna or goodwill mission. Godhra is his 26th stop.
