Army chief's age row deepens

The face off between the man with four stars and the government which has been taken to court, become even murkier. After the Defence Ministry came out for the first time against the Army Chief his men have released parts of his defence - of coercion on his date of birth and the rot in the military secretariat. A way out looks as remote as ever and fight is set to get murkier accusations and counter allegations fly thick and fast.
