Eight dead, five critical in stampede near Ratlam

At least eight people have been confirmed killed at a Muslim religious ceremony at Hussain Ki Tikri, 40 kilometres from Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh. The incident happened during the Muslim Chehlum ceremony for which thousands had gathered. The injured have been rushed to the district hospital in Ratlam. At least five are said to in a serious condition.
