UP Polls: Don's aide claims BJP ticket

The BJP seemed to be outscoring all other parties when it comes to sheltering the tainted in the poll season. Sacked BSP Minister Babu Singh Kushwaha, former rape accused Sakshi Maharaj and now Dhananjay Singh have been welcomed into the party folds. Unfazed by the criticism from within and outside, the party is now wooing don Dhananjay Singh, now lodged in Jaunpur jail on a double murder charge. This former BSP MP is also booked under the gangsters act. By wooing Dhananjya the BJP has set its eyes on Thakur votes. The BJP may field Singh's candidates at 4 places. Sources say his wife or brother is likely to be fielded as well. Malhani, Madiyana, Zaffarabad and Badalpur are some of the regions where Dhananjay wields influence.
