Kanimozhi wants early bail hearing in HC

A day after bail was granted to five corporate executives, the Delhi High court is likely to hear the bail plea of DMK MP and 2G scam accused Kanimozhi today. Kanimozhi has sought an early listing of the matter.Kanimozhi has argued that keeping her in jail any longer is a violation of her fundamental rights. Last time, the court rejected her bail plea, saying that the "crime committed was a deliberate offence, an economic offence and very serious in nature."
