Srinagar clash: Journalist thrashed, 3 injured

Clashes in down town Srinagar, clashes between protestors and police. Forces thrash journalists. 3 journalists were severely beaten and hospitalized. The incident took place on a day when hawkish hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani had called for a day long band in Kashmir against alleged detention of minors by police.
