At a time when repeated Chinese intrusions into India are becoming politically sensitive, the Indian Air Force Chief has made a stunning disclosure. India does not have air defence radars on the Chinese frontier. The IAF Chief has also acknowledged that for information on airborne intrusions, he has to depend upon the Indo-Tibetan Border Police(ITBP) . He has added that the IAF will not have mountain radars or LLLR before 2017.
