A large chunk of auto drivers in Mumbai went off the roads today pressing for their long list of demands including higher tariffs. Commuters in maximum city were left in the lurch. But the tussle between auto drivers and passengers has even taken a violent turn underlining the urgent need to reconcile clashing interests across cities.
