Coal Scam: CBI to submit 9-page affidavit before SC

India News:The CBI director Ranjit Sinha on Monday filed a 9-page affidavit in the Supreme Court on the coal scam. Former ASG Harin Raval and Attorney General G E Vahanvati were present in the meeting with the law minister, says affidavit.

Changes in the status report were made on the suggestions given by Attorney General and PMO official, says CBI affidavit.

Consequent changes in the report have neither altered its central theme nor shifted the focus of inquiries in any manner: SC told.
