Salman Khan to be convicted soon

Salman Khan News: April 8 is an important day for Bollywood star Salman Khan. His plea for quashing of 'culpable homicide not amounting to murder' charge against him in the 2002 hit-and-run case would come up for hearing today.

Previously being tried under the lesser charge of causing death by negligence that has a maximum punishment of two years in jail, Salman Khan faced a setback in the hit-and-run case when the stringent charge of 'culpable homicide not amounting to murder', which attracts ten years of jail, was made out against the 47-year-old star.
