Rs. 1 Lakh Fine imposed on CNN-IBN

CNN-IBN and its sister concern IBN-7 have been imposed with a fine of Rs. 1 lakh for factually airing a factually incorrect report about the Haryana Government flouting laws to allot land to the Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust.
The two channels have been asked to apologise for broadcasting the biased report, stating it is an example of unethical journalism.
