Days after a face-off between Shiv Sena and BMC over a temporary memorial structure of Bala Saheb Thackery. The party finally fell in line and removed the structure from Shivaji Park where their party founder was cremated. Work began after midnight on Monday and was completed early today morning. Though there was some slogan shouting after that as after removing the memorial. Sena thereafter attempted building another one at a new place in the park but their attempts failed due to heavy police installation. The Sainiks had to retreat.
