Mamata Banerjee to face an open revolt within her Party

Chattopadhyay is the second TMC leader to speak out against Mamata this week. Two days ago, Agriculture minister Rabindranath Bhattacharya alleged that Mamata knew all about her party men extorting money. Bhattacharya told a local TV channel that the TMC leader is "claiming her party won't be involved in extortion. But party cadres are extorting money from people before my very eyes" Bhattacharya is a retired head master and was a trusted aide during the 2007 Singur agitation.
