Liam Neeson's 'Cold Pursuit' Tanks at Box Office Following Racial Controversy 'Cold Pursuit' brought in just
$10.8 million its opening weekend. The film's modest revenue
marks one of Neeson's
worst-ever opening weekends. Despite the low box office
numbers, 'Cold Pursuit' is currently
rated at 76% on Rotten Tomatoes. The box office figures could be due to Neeson being recently accused of racism. The actor admitted in an interview that
he had a racially charged desire for
vengeance after a friend was raped years ago. Soon after, Neeson appeared on
'Good Morning America' to
deny claims that he is racist. His next film appearance will be a supporting role in 'Men in Black: International,' opening June 14.
