Swara Bhaskar Confirms REJECTING A Shah Rukh Khan Film!

Swara Bhaskar is slowly and steadily rising in the ranks of Bollywood with strong performances. After playing a simple but substantial role in Nil Battey Sannata in 2016, she will start working with biggies like Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in Veere Di Wedding this year. But it seems that Swara Bhaskar is being quite picky with her projects. We hear that she was offered a part in her Raanjhanaa director Aanand L Rai's next with Shah Rukh Khan, but Swara Bhaskar turned it down. And before everyone's jaws drop, no it wasn't the lead heroine role, but the part of Shah Rukh Khan's mother. Yes, at Aanand L. Rai's birthday bash a while back, the filmmaker jokingly offered her the part and she said no in the same zest. Swara Bhaskar even confirmed the news by saying that it was just banter going on at the bash but she was serious in rejecting the offer of playing the role of Shah Rukh Khan's mother.
