OMG! Rangoon makers land in a legal soup for Kangana's Character!

Rangoon starring Saif Ali Khan, Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles is all set to hit the screens this Friday. The film has now landed in a legal hassle. The Wadia Movietone Pvt Ltd has sued filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj for copyright infringement. The case has been filed by Roy Wadia. According to the claim, Kangana Ranaut's character in the film is based on Australian stunt actress Mary Evans who is better known as Fearless Nadia. The Wadia production house holds the rights of her publicity material. Moreover, the term Bloody Hell is also related to Fearless Nadia. The team of Rangoon has not yet commented on the issue but has filed a reply saying, 'The character of Julia is a composite of several leading ladies of that era and not on the film actress Nadia. The said actress has been independently sketched and fleshed out based on years of research by the team of writers working on the film.'
