Shahid Kapoor Was Scared To Suggest Kareena Kapoor's Name For 'Udta Punjab'

Shahid-Kareena fans rejoice! After 8 whole years since the 'Jab We Met' stars parted ways, the two will finally be seen together in 'Udta Punjab'. Although, they won't be sharing screen space, seeing them together in the same film does indeed give us a glimmer of hope. But did you know, it was Shahid who suggested Kareena's name for the role?

In a recent interview, Sasha spilled the beans on how his ex-flame Bebo happened to get the role. It was the 'Shaandaar' actor who suggested the gorgeous diva's name for this particular role, since he thought that she would be perfect for it. But that's not all! Our chocolate hero was quite scared to give such a suggestion, because he wasn't sure how it will be perceived.

Now that the two are happily married, we must commend them for keeping the past in the past, and coming together for a movie. Our 'Haider' star will also be seen in a film with Bebo's hubby Saif, in Vishal Bharadwaj's 'Rangoon'. Looks like all is well in Tinseltown!
