Neeram Naadi Kaadu is an action thriller. The movie opens with someone killing Suman's wife Rekha (Rajini). D.S.P. Chandrasekhar (Satyanarayana) arrests him. But an unknow person brings him out of prison and requests him to go to lawyer Harathi (Radha), who is the only person who can save him. Harathi, who is the daughter of Chandrasekhar at first rejects to take his case as she believes him to be the culprit, but then takes up his case and saves him. In this process she falls in love with him and marries him. Gopala Krishna (Sudhakar) who doesn't like Suman creates a misunderstanding between Harathi and Suman and argues with Harathi that Suman is the only person who had killed Rekha. After finding some proofs, even Harathi started to suspect Suman and she informs police about it. Is Suman the real culprit? If not then who else had killed Rekha?
