Consumption to be engine of growth, says Deepak Parekh

Growth is India is mainly from consumption and this tax benefit will give boost to consumption because disposal income will go up for the middle class families and they will have more money in hands to spend. So, spending will increase, consumption will grow and the consumption to GDP ratio in India which is very low will go up, said Deepak Parekh of HDFC.
