The Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission Chairman Mumo Matemu has resigned just days after Vice Chairperson Irene Keino quit following their suspension and formation of a commission of inquiry to investigate their conduct.
Matemu was set to face a Commission of Inquiry investigating allegations of corruption and abuse of office against him and Keino after Parliament approved a petition that sought their removal from office.
