S. Korea's Samsung Electronics is world's 5th most valuable brand: Report

Samsung Electronics has been ranked the world's fifth most valuable brand,… down one spot from last year.
According to an annual report by British consultancy firm Brand Finance...., the South Korean tech giant's brand value is worth 91-point-three billion U.S. dollars in 2019.
It's down one-point-one percent from the previous year... and Samsung was the only one among the top five to fall in brand value.
The report pointed to disappointing sales of the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 among other factors.
Amazon is the world's most valuable brand at nearly 1-hundred-88 billion dollars,… followed by Apple, Google and Microsoft.
Other Korean companies in the top 100 were.... Hyundai Motor at 79th …and LG Group at 91st.
