It’s official! Carmelo Anthony has officially been released by the Houston Rockets! Melo played for just 10 games this season, averaging just 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. The news came via Twitter as NBA inside Woj Tweeted: “The Houston Rockets have agreed to trade Carmelo Anthony and cash to the Chicago Bulls, league sources tell ESPN.” Shortly after, he followed up that tweet with another explaining that Anthony won’t play a single game for the Bulls, and will be released, becoming a free agent.
