Unseasonably mild, toxic smog in the west _ 012219

Good morning. Unseasonably mild temperatures will continue on this Tuesday, highs could hike to 7 degrees Celsius in Seoul, 5 to 6 degrees higher than the seasonal norms... and the milder than average temperatures will carry on for a few more days.
But some unwelcome news, unlike clean air we've had recently ..western parts of the country could be covered in a haze of pollution, while the regions in the east will be under dry weather alerts with a warning in place for parts of Gangwon-do Province. Wash your hands frequently with soap and drink plenty of water.
The capital area will see more cloud coverage through the afternoon, but we are looking at more sunshine to shine down later in the day....checking on today's temperatures...Seoul at minus 3 degrees, Daejeon is kicking off at minus 5 degrees.
Daily highs will range between 6 to 11 degrees Celsius...topping out at 7 degrees in Seoul while many southern areas will see highs in the double digits.
