Playstation 4 Approaching 100 Million Units Sold Worldwide Since its launch in 2013, the console has now sold nearly 92 million units. until January 2016. Meanwhile, Nintendo's Switch console has sold just under 23 million units since its
release in March 2017. By the time it catches up to the PS4, Sony will most likely have released
the Playstation 5.
