Cleveland Browns OC
Freddie Kitchens Named Head Coach He takes over for Gregg Williams, who was named interim coach last season after the firing
of Hue Jackson. Cleveland finished the year 7-8-1,
their best record since 2007. Sources say Kitchens was selected
due to his success working with
rookie QB Baker Mayfield. Mayfield, the first pick in the 2018 Draft, threw 27 touchdown passes setting a new NFL record for
rookie quarterbacks. Before joining the Browns, the 44-year-old Kitchens spent 11 seasons as an offensive coach with the Arizona Cardinals.
