The world of professional wrestling lost one of its most legendary personalities when WWE confirmed that "Mean" Gene Okerlund passed away on Wednesday at the age of 76. According to comicbook.com, once the news was released social media was flooded with touching tributes, including messages from some of wrestling's biggest names. Hulk Hogan tweeted: "Mean Gene I love you my brother" while Triple H called Okerlund a "voice and sound track to an entire era of our industry.
