Ocean Pollution Threatens Marine Life

As we've seen time and time again, pollution in our oceans can be deadly for the creatures that call it home, and it only seems to be getting worse! The fishermen featured came across not one, not two, not even three, but four turtles that had become tangled in netting and trash. Of course, they began working to free the otherwise helpless animals.

And over in the Maldives, Sports Director Adam Sihad from the Island Development and Environmental Awareness Society (IDEAS) managed to rescue a turtle that was caught up in marine debris. They say that marine debris is the number one threat to turtles in the area, and although this little guy made it out alive, there's no telling how many turtles weren't as lucky.
