Transgender community and gender rights activists on Friday staged protests in Bengaluru against the Transgender Persons Bill, 2018. They say the bill is violating rights of the transgender and minority communities in the country. Members of the transgender community raised slogans and danced as they protested to criticize the government for passing the Rights of Transgender Persons and Trafficking of Persons (Prevention, Protection and Rehabilitation) Bills in the lower house of the parliament.
