Trailblazers: For Better Not Worse

For Better Not Worse is a clothing company that gives back to children in the United States suffering from food insecurity. One in five children in America go to bed hungry, but the company's founder Patricc Reed is making a difference by providing meals for those in need. For each clothing item sold, For Better Not Worse gives a bag of groceries to a child in need in the U.S. These children utilize their school's subsidized meal programs, but only when school is in session, so Reed provides meals when the kids aren't in school, so fewer children go to bed hungry. Reed and his team personally distribute the bags of groceries at their monthly food drops, which allows For Better Not Worse to interact with the families that they directly impact. By giving back, Reed hopes to get to the point where For Better Not Worse is giving thousands of grocery bags every week to children in need across the United States.
