The PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics, and the atmosphere of reconciliation between South and North Korea at the games, was among the AFP Sport's top ten sporting highlights of 2018.
The news agency put the Winter Olympics in 8th spot on their list on Tuesday.... saying the event in February led to a thaw in ties with nuclear-armed North Korea,.... who sent a delegation to march together behind the Unification Flag and take part in the Winter Olympics as a joint team for the first time in the history of the global event.
