Diamond D Webisode 1

Diamond D, the legendary co-founder of seminal hip-hop group D.I.T.C.
(Diggin' in the Crates) speaks on his forthcoming album, October
14th's "The Huge Hefner Chronicles." An industry giant, Diamond is a
grammy-winning producer, who has collaborated with and/or produced for
the likes of The Fugees, A Tribe Called Quest, Mos Def, Busta Rhymes,
2 $hort, Sadat X (Brand Nubian) & many more.

In this rare and candid piece, Diamond speaks on the origins of the album title:
"...it's not on no playboy sex shit, it's just basically like my
status in the game. Even though I haven't had nothing out in a while,
motherf^&*ers still respect me like that..."

And the proof is in the pudding. From fevered blog buzz to both
college and commercial radio (NY's Hot 97, Seattle's KUBE & more),
everyone's been feeling his new single "D-I-A-M-O-N-D," produced by
none other than the legendary Nottz (Kanye West, The Game, Notorious
B.I.G., J. Dilla).
