According to Comicbook.com, the next Pokemon film could revisit the story of Mewtwo after all these years. The first teaser of Pokemon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back EVOLUTION has been released and it mysteriously teases Mewtwo's big return to the Pokemon movie franchise. The film is scheduled to release July 12th, 2019 in Japan. Pokemon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back EVOLUTION will be directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and Motonari Sakakibara, with a screenplay written by Takeshi Shudo.
