NAROWAL: At least seven children were wounded when a passenger train rammed into a school van crossing the railway track in Narowal district on Tuesday morning, ARY News reported.
According to rescue officials, the Lasani Express, which was travelling to Lahore, hit the school van at a railway crossing near a local railway station in the city. As a result, seven children suffered wounds.
The injured were immediately shifted to a nearby medical facility where one of them was stated to in critical condition.
On Oct 16, this year, the Khushhal Khan Khattak Express had rammed into a rickshaw crossing the railway track.
Most of the victims belonged to the same family and were going back home after attending a wedding when the train travelling from Karachi to Peshawar hit their rickshaw.
