FLABAIRE deep house set: Electronic Subculture x W Paris – Opéra

Jägermeister & Mixmag France link up to showcase some of France’s best homegrown talents. We kick off the new Electronic Subculture events and stream series at the W Paris – Opéra with a vinyl DJ set from Flabaire, a staple of the Parisian dance music scene, D.KO’s label honcho and soulful house music producer and selector.

Mixmag France is proud to launch its brand new event series Electronic Subculture, in partnership with Jägermeister. The first instalment saw the team take over the W Paris Opera with three of their favourite artists of the year: Flabaire, Leo Pol and DoubtingThomas.

To kick off the series in style, we’ve invited one of the City of Love’s most respected house music selector: Flabaire. A renown vinyl addict and champion of soulful, funky dance music, Flabaire has been one of the most adored figures to emerge in the local scene over the past decade and we’re delighted to welcome him to MixmagTV for the first time.

As one of the guys behind France’s hyperactive house music label, D.KO Records, and with numerous tracks on his own imprint under his belt, as well as on other labels such as Organic, Série Limitée, and Popcorn Records that got him the attention of Move D, Christopher Rau, Jimpster, and Moomin, he’s building a name for himself internationally. His LP 'Bandwidth' released earlier this year received critical acclaim and proved that his production skills go far beyond conventional house music, wandering into ambient, jungle, and broken beat vibes.

On the night Flabaire will also be joined by Concrete’s resident Leo Pol and a veteran-traveller of the European scene DoubtingThomas – two other national treasures showcasing their incredible live sets.
