'Ignite' (Hidden Track Records 2018), el nou EP de weia és precisament això, l'espurna que encén una proposta d’electrònica feta per gaudir sense pressa, amb ecos rock i shoegaze, movent-se còmode entre la llum i la foscor del seu interior.
When the first beat of weia’s 'Textbook Honey Trap' kicks in, the air becomes thicker, filled with synths with a dreampop touch, catchy guitars and lyrics that cut the atmosphere like a knife. 'Ignite' (Hidden Track Records 2018), weia’s newest EP is doing precisely this, igniting the spark that lights an electronic project made to be enjoyed slowly, with rock and shoegaze echoes, which moves comfortably between light and darkness.
