Of Moths and Stars is a British rock band based in Madrid. It takes it’s influences from Nick Cave, The Black Keys and the Arctic Monkeys. The band was created in Cambodia by English explorers Chris Dabbs and Nate Wisniewski and made it's roots in Hong Kong where it lived for 3 years before moving to Europe. The band is now half English and half Valencian. The music is a blend of high pressure rock n roll guitar riffs, catchy vocal melodies, in-tune harmonies and drums you can dance to.
They have opened for Suede, The Charlatans, Peaches, OK Go!, The Bohicas, and have also featured in a number of music festivals and events across the world including Mad Cool (ESP), Sonorama (ESP), Clockenflap (HK), Timeout: London, Rising Stars (UK) and several televised concerts in Spain for Telecinco and Cuatro.
