Communicating with your children isn't always easy. And if your child is being bullied you don't always realize it. There are a few things to detect in case your child is being bullied in school.
If there is a difference in your child's friendships. Especially with girls that have a tendency to have more "mean girls" group.
If your child has repeated headaches or stomachaches, and a reluctance to go to school in the morning. The headaches and stomachaches are a usually triggered by stress. All of this combined would be a good indicator of your kid having trouble in school.
Check the grades. By being bullied your child's grades could be going down.
When your child is "the newbie." Being brand new student in school can be hard, make sure you ask your youngster questions about his day, new friendships and anything related to school without being to pushy.
Any reluctance to talk with the family? When talking about school topics you see your child not answering, avoiding your eyes, then maybe something is wrong.
The best you can do it to be there for them!
