Meek Mill's 'Championships' Debuts
at No. 1 on 'Billboard' 200 'Championships' is Meek's first album since his
release from prison eight months ago. It features Jay-Z, Drake, Cardi B, Rick Ross and
other big name artists. The LP is also the Philadelphia rapper's
second chart-topper on the Billboard 200. 'Championships' exceeded first-week sales projections with 226,000 units moved. 42,000 of those were from pure album sales. According to 'Billboard,' 'Championships' had the
ninth-biggest streaming week of 2018. Figures show it tallied 235.4 million
on-demand audio streams in the
week ending December 6 In total, 'Championships' is
Meek's sixth consecutive top 10 effort.
