#Cozmik Harmony II Baatighar II Subha Prasad Nandi Majumdar II Audio Jukebox

Subha Prasad Nandi Majumdar (b1962) is an All India Radio certified A Grade artist of Tagore Songs. He has more than one CD and three Cassettes to his credit. Born in Shillong, the capital of undivided Assam, his family later on shifted to Silchar, the centre of Barak Valley in Southern Assam, where he received his grooming and upbringing. For the last 31 years, as he extensively toured the length and breadth of Eastern India with his rich repertoire of Tagore’s songs, contemporary Bengali music and, of course, his forte and favourite People’s Music. Apart from appearing in numerous stage performances in various parts of the country he had been to Bangladesh on several occasions. This neighbouring country of ours including its capital, Dhaka, has offered captive audience to him many a time. He has enthralled the viewers in numerous live music shows of the television channels in India and Bangladesh. A music composer for many stage and television plays, documentaries and video films he has also directed some of those. In him one would discover a rare fusion of calibre drawn from varied genres of creativity. He has translated a number of Bengali short stories and pieces of poetry into English some of which have appeared in Indian Literature of Sahitya Academy apart from his original contributions to almost all major little magazines of the region. A regular column writer of newspaper and periodicals, he has a collection of short stories of Samaresh Basu, ‘Rajdhani Express mystery and other stories’, translated by him published by Ponytale Books, New Delhi to his credit.
“Baatighar” is his latest album of Rabindra Sangeet which was released in 2015. Noted Composer duo Mayukh and Mainak designed the music of the album.
