Memories of an Idle Dream

Hayley Yardley is a young woman caught in the cycle of domestic violence. She is abused by her boyfriend, who then heartfully apologizes, she forgives him, and he ends up abusing her again. Her friends try to reach Hayley and make her see that the cycle cannot continue but she pushes them away.

This story is told in flashback, starting with Hayley seeking and intervention order against her boyfriend, then looking back at the events that led her to that decision.
