The meet held between former Norwegian PM Bondevik and separatist leaders in the valley has stoked a controversy after questions were raised by NC and Congress as to how and why did the government allow this meet to happen in the first place. Bondevik, who is also the President of Oslo centre for peace and human rights, claims that the meeting was held to discuss the latest situation in the valley. Omar Abdullah and Congress have slammed the centre and questioned their silence as to why a third party was allowed to meet separatists in the valley.
