For a second weekend, police clashed with protesters in Paris who are angry over President Emmanuel Macron’s economic policies. Police fired tear gas and used water cannons and have arrested 18 so far. According to Reuters, protestors are opposed to taxes Macron introduced last year on diesel and petrol. The moves are designed to encourage people to shift to more environmentally friendly transport.
