Good morning, it feels more like December in many regions. Seasonal indicators show today is Soseol. It literally means a little bit of snow, but rather we are seeing a blast of cold air hit the nation. Morning lows in Seoul plunged below freezing... Seoraksan mountain is the coldest area right now.
Be sure to have your winter jackets ready. Extra layers are a must this morning, lows are nearly 7 degrees lower than yesterday here in the capital, readings will go down even further on Friday to minus 4.
Meanwhile, Beijing's today's low is minus 4, Tokyo will have bearable temperatures under cloudy skies.
Taking a closer look at temperatures here, morning lows in Daejeon are at minus 2 degrees Celsius, Chuncheon at minus 5 degrees..
Plenty of sun will allow afternoon temperatures to reach the upper single digits...highs will be in the mid to upper single digits, Busan and Jeju will also notice much colder readings.
