Several celebrities have taken to social media to share tributes to the Marvel icon Stan Lee. The latest to speak out about the loss is X-Men star Patrick Stewart who played Charles Xavier. Stewart said Stan taught the cast of X-Men that “no matter our superpowers, we were all human being at the core.” He also said: “Thank you, Stan. Your legacy and humanity will live on in all of us.” The actor played Professor X starting in 2000 and has made appearances in films up until 2017.
