The VILLAGE life - WOMEN

While the men work hard out in the fields and orchards,
the women are working just as hard inside the village.
Synch Woman: Women have a significant role, we're the mothers of our families, we're the trainers of the children, we're the providers for the home and we take care of them, of our children, we raise them to be the leaders of Israel, the coming generation. What Jesus did to women though was even more special. He allowed them and welcomed them to his close circle of disciples. We know that women were there around him, studying, learning what he said.
Since the dawn of history,
it has always been the women's work to bring water from the well.
Many of our stories take place by the wells of antiquity ----
such as one that tells how an angel informed Mary of Yeshua's
coming birth, beside the well of Nazareth.
Song: My soul, magnifies the Lord, my soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my savior
Yeshua also knew the importance of water ---
and used this imagery to describe himself.
Woman Synch: In our dry and desolate country when God gave water, that meant life for the people. So when people were faithful and walked after god, god said I will give you rain on the land. But when you're not, and you're sinning against me I will hold back the rain, as He did so many times in the bible. When Jesus came he added a new meaning to the water, and he said I am the living water, but what I'm going to give you is everlasting life. So when people heard that, it was a life meaning for them. They understood that it's not just the life right now, but everlasting. And that's why the Samaritan woman at the well, she said 'give me from this water so I may live'.
