S. Korean defense firm to export three trainer aircraft to Indonesia

South Korea has inked a deal with Indonesia for three more trainer jet aircraft.
Korea Aerospace Industries says the contract signed in Jakarta on Thursday is worth about 90 million U.S. dollars.
It calls for the delivery of three KT-1B trainers,... aircraft developed using indigenous technology.
The planes are due to be delivered in under two-and-a-half years from now.
Under the deal, KAI will also install new radar equipment and machine guns on planes it sold to Jakarta previously.
With this fourth order, the Indonesian military will have bought a total of 20 KT-1B trainers... plus 16 T-50 trainers.
