CBI bribery case: PM Modi has buried last nail in independence of CBI, says Congress

Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala, on Wednesday, named Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the root cause for the disruption caused in CBI after several bribery accusations were made within the organisation. Opposition parties have attacked the government for removing Alok Verma. Congress’s chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala and other opposition parties attempted to link the development to the opposition pushing for a probe into the Rafale fighter jet deal.
