The New York Times reports on an argument between John Kelly and Corey Lewandowski at the White House.

The White House is often described as a chaotic place, and the New York Times recently reported that, in the case of Chief of Staff John Kelly, that tension has escalated to a physical confrontation.  According to sources who spoke with the Times, "An argument last February between the White House chief of staff, John F. Kelly, and Corey Lewandowski, an informal adviser to President Trump, turned into a physical altercation that required Secret Service intervention just outside the Oval Office."  The incident is said to have been preceded by a verbal confrontation that took place in the Oval Office. The Times noted that it continued into a hallway where Kelly asked for Lewandowski to be removed from the building and "grabbed Mr. Lewandowski by his collar, trying to push him against a wall, according to a person with direct knowledge of the episode."  Anthony Scaramucci, who briefly served as the White House Communications Director, recently commented on the impact Kelly's at-work demeanor has on the White House.  He said during an interview with NBC's 'Meet The Press' on Sunday that Kelly has "hurt the morale inside the place, and he's hurt the president, and he has hissy fits."
